Silver Ghost Photography Exhibit in Vancouver Brings Cautionary Tale to BC

Silver Ghost is a collection of photographs of rivers in Canada's East where Atlantic salmon still run - although in diminished numbers. It is through this lens that Holownia examines the staggering impact of human intervention on the environment.

The photos are meant to be beautiful on the surface - with a strong but unseen message underneath. The collection does not include a single frame of the grand fish itself. Nor are there photos of people fishing.
